I apologize for my bluntness, my Lord, but yes, you were away for quite some time. Is everything alright?
No, Milady, do not apologize. I was away for quite some time, and it is in my sincerest apologies that I did not give any notice of my absence. I had to be away for personal reasons, some of which I have yet to resolve, but I am in high hopes that I shall be able to put them aside very soon and return to my rightful place. Thank you so very much for your concern.
Your Excellency, have you finally come back to us?
Ah, but the real question is; was I ever away?
But in short, Madame, yes I am back.
Your excellency, where are you? O.o
I am truly humbled by your concern, my Dear Anon, and I am aware my presence here has been lacking. Certain business matters have been taking much, if not too much, of my time. I assure you, however, that I am ever present and shall begin posting again as hastily as possible.
Excellency, I was curious about something and I'm wondering if you could possibly enlighten me with your wisdom. I realize you have the beautiful Princess Haydee Tebelin on your arm every time you attend the opera, but still... I wanted to know the mysterious Count's musings as to what makes a proper mademoiselle in high society these days. Please excuse my candid manner of speaking, your Excellency! I eagerly await your reply! >///<
What a question indeed! What makes a proper mademoiselle? Well, I dare not speak too much on the subject (it is unwise to go about provoking those who are so important to our lives by assuming to know such things), however if I were to muse on it, momentarily, I would say that a certain air of mystery, and definite beauty are both essential. More so than either of those, however, I think intelligence, cunning and wit that can equal that of any gentleman is truly what makes a superb, and ‘proper’ mademoiselle.
What do you think of all these fangirls, sir?
To be completely honest, I find them quite amusing. I do not see myself as esteemed as they seem to, and for that I find I am quite privileged to have such attention.
